  • When Does the pool open and close?
    The swimming pool typically opens over the Memorial Day weekend in May. It is typically closed after the Labor Day weekend in September, weather permitting.


  • How do I reserve the clubhouse and/or gazebo?
    Contact Natural Retreats at 865-868-5800. The website is www.naturalretreats.com.


  • Who collects the trash?
    Each homeowner is responsible for their own trash removal. If your cabin rental is managed by Natural Retreats, please contact the Natural Retreats office at Brothers Cove at 865-868-5800. Their website is www.naturalretreats.com. If you use another rental management company, you must contact that company for trash removal. If your trash is not collected and becomes a nuisance, the management company will pick it up and charge the owner.


  • What is the HOA management office address and contact information?

  • How much are the HOA dues?
    $250.00 per month, due the first of each month.


  • What do the HOA monthly fees cover?
    The HOA fees cover, but are not limited to: 1)Maintenance of the common grounds 2)Common area utilities 3)Water system maintenance and delivery 4)Road Maintenance: Clearing of roadways, patching pot holes, and clearing debris 5)HOA Business Insurance 6)HOA Management Company


  • What are the common areas and common grounds?
    1)The roadways including 3-4 feet to either side (which include weed control & weed whacking) 2)Water wells and open lands surrounding them 3)Supply lines 4)Storage facilities: apartment, laundry, and storage above lot #63 5)Covered bridge and front signage 6)Pool area


  • What landscaping is provided on the common grounds?
    Landscaping is provided via contract as approved by the HOA Board of Directors.


  • What does HOA Management Group do for Brothers Cove HOA?
    HOA Management Group enforces all legalities of Brothers Cove Deed Restrictions and Covenants, handles all finances for Brothers Cove, and provides a detailed monthly financial report, as well as generating an annual budget to keep Brothers Cove finances healthy. They prepare for all Homeowner meetings and Board meetings, also producing the minutes. They are the liaison for all homeowners to retrieve any local information needed for their property.   • Who maintains the non-common grounds?
    Each property owner is responsible for the maintenance and landscaping of their property.


  • If renting out our property, are we required to use a specific rental management company?
    No. You may contact Natural Retreats at 865-868-5800. The website is www.naturalretreats.com. They are one of the top rental management companies in the area.


  • What restrictions (Deed Restrictions & Covenants) exist within Brothers Cove?
    There are multiple restrictions for Brothers Cove HOA listed on this site under the "Master Deed" tab.


  • How often does the HOA hold a meeting?
    Currently the HOA meets on an annual basis, which is generally the 2nd Saturday in November.


  • What are the Board of Director's terms?
    Each Board Member is elected for a 3-year term. The terms are staggered over each year.


  • Who owns the water system?
    The Brothers Cove HOA owns the water system, wells, filtration system and is responsible for the delivery system.


  • Why should I leave a key to my property at the Natural Retreats office located on site?
    In the event of an emergency there will then be access to your cabin. Comments have been made, "That is why I have insurance." In the event of a water leak, the leak adversely effects the entire resort and needs to be taken care of immediately.


  • Why is the water still red after the purchase of the water filtration system?
    Water is now clear from the supply tanks. In the event you continue to have red in your water, it is most likely related to your water heater pipes. The pipes need to be cleaned.
